The Bellingham area has a tradition of creating top notch multisport events. The Lake Samish Fire Department is pleased to add a new premium event to the summer calendar.

The Lake Samish Triathlon is perfect for first timer triathletes and offers seasoned triathletes a great training distance prior to Ironman Canada. Lake Samish is nestled in a lush

valley, 6 miles south of Bellingham, WA. The triathlon is a project of the Lake Samish Fire Department.

The Triathlons and Open Water Swim have been added to the already popular historic  Swim -A-Thon a 3 mile swim from South Lake Samish to Camp Lutherwood, North Lake Samish. The Try-a-Tri and Sprint Triathlons start and finish on the North Lake at Camp Lutherwood.
